For those who want to start their own business on marketplaces, the State Budgetary Institution "Small Business of Moscow" (MBM) will conduct special online training. Classes will be held from August 18 to 22 as part of the "MBM Business School" project. You can study for free. To do this, you must first register on MBM portal.

Over the course of five days, aspiring entrepreneurs will learn how to select suitable online trading platforms for their start-up, learn how to create and successfully promote a brand, and protect content rights. In addition, they will analyze common mistakes made when working on marketplaces and study the specifics of tax accounting in the field of e-commerce. Each lesson will last 1.5 hours — from 15:00 to 16:30.

The first module, "Where to start your journey on marketplaces? Which marketplace to choose?" will take place on August 18. There, the expert will talk about the differences between digital marketplaces and explain how to prepare for the launch, create your own product or your own brand, and also tell you how to use unit economics.

On August 19, the second module will be held – "Mistakes of Beginning and Existing Entrepreneurs: Budget, Product, and Competitors", where future entrepreneurs will study the mechanisms of analyzing competitors' activities, product selection tools, and important factors for ranking a product card in search results.

On August 20, a webinar will be held on "Protection of Content Rights on Marketplaces". Using simple examples, the expert will explain how copyright works and how to safely work on digital trading platforms without violating it. He will also tell you how to protect your content and hold competitors accountable for illegal use using real court cases as an example.

Participants of the webinar "Marketplaces: taxes, reporting, risks" on August 21 will get acquainted with taxation regimes and learn how to choose the optimal regime for trade, calculate and pay taxes, generate reports and submit them on time. In addition, future entrepreneurs will learn which codes from the All-Russian Classifier of Economic Activities are suitable for their business.

At the final webinar “How to create and successfully promote a brand on marketplaces” on August 22, they will tell you whether a brand is needed on digital trading platforms, how to use advertising tools, neural networks and social networks for promotion, and will also teach you how to work with reviews.

The speakers of the project webinars will be an expert on marketplaces, a business coach, the CEO of a consulting company specializing in financial and legal support for small and medium businesses, a financial director, and an expert on visual communication in the digital space.

Educational support for entrepreneurs is provided within the framework of the federal project “Small and medium entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative”, which is part of the national project "Efficient and competitive economy", as well as the Moscow Mayor's strategy for supporting the capital's entrepreneurship.
