JAKARTA, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) — More than 4 million foreign tourists visited the popular Indonesian island of Bali from January to July 2025, up from 3.89 million in the same period last year, Bali Provincial Tourism Director I Wayan Sumarajaya said in Denpasar on Tuesday.

During the same period, 5 million Indonesians visited the island, he noted. “From January to July 2025, the number of foreign tourists in Bali exceeded 4 million, while the number of domestic visitors exceeded 5 million,” the official said.
