The most difficult stage is the installation of temporary metal structures for repairing sidewalks without restricting navigation. Some work was carried out directly from the water using barges and pontoons.
Then the bridge's stairways were restored to their historical appearance, and the road surface and lighting system elements were updated.
During the reconstruction, advanced technologies were used. For example, remotely controlled robots replaced workers and manual jackhammers, and also helped to perform tasks in hard-to-reach places. This increased productivity and safety of work.
In addition, new building materials were used. For example, solutions were used that harden in less than seven hours, high-quality steel with increased resistance to external influences and corrosion, and much more.
Thanks to the reconstruction, the bridge will be able to serve for many more years.
