A modern industrial cluster for food production will appear in the Krasnopakhorsky District of the Troitsky Administrative Okrug. To service it, the city will build a complex of transport and engineering infrastructure facilities. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.
"A large food production cluster is being formed near the village of Oznobishino in the Troitsky administrative district. About 5.5 kilometers of roads will be built to service it, existing utilities will be updated and new ones installed, and about 12 hectares of territory will be improved. At the moment, specialists have begun designing the facilities. The work will be carried out within the framework of the capital's Address Investment Program," Vladimir Efimov noted.
The new industrial cluster will be built within the framework of the mechanism of large-scale investment projects implemented in Moscow since 2016.
"On the instructions of Sergei Sobyanin, large-scale investment projects are being consistently implemented in the capital, which help to significantly strengthen the city's industrial base and create new jobs. For example, a modern food cluster is currently being formed in TiNAO. The project will give a powerful impetus to the development of the district's economy and will create more than 13 thousand new jobs," said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry
In addition to the construction of road sections, it is planned to build a local treatment facility 1.6 kilometers long, create a water intake unit and a water supply network for the food cluster with a total length of 3.4 kilometers. A sewage pumping station and another treatment facility 1.5 kilometers long will also appear on the site.
According to Vasily Desyatkov, Head of the Department of Construction of Transport and Engineering Infrastructure of the City of Moscow, the formation of a modern road network and the creation of infrastructure facilities will be the key to the successful development of the future cluster. Since 2011, more than 400 kilometers of highways have been laid in TiNAO.
The area around the cluster will be landscaped and greened: lindens, maples, oaks, willows, rowans, bird cherries, and ornamental shrubs will be planted. Flower beds will be laid out from perennial and annual plants.
Ekaterina Solovieva, The Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the capital's Department of City Property, said that production in the food cluster will be created as part of the implementation of large-scale investment projects. For the construction of enterprises, the city has provided or plans to allocate a total of about 100 hectares of land. A single distribution center for finished products of the meat processing plant, industrial parks, an agro-industrial complex, enterprises for the production of frozen bakery semi-finished products, and fish and seafood processing will appear here. The urban development potential of these sites exceeds 750 thousand square meters of real estate.
Large-scale investment projects are one of the key instruments for the development of the capital's economy. Within the framework of this mechanism, investors are given the opportunity to create production, social and commercial facilities on city sites.
