Under the renovation program, a residential complex with a total area of over 17 thousand square meters has begun to be built in the Timiryazevsky district in the north of Moscow. This was reported by the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the capital's Department of Urban Development Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.
"Construction of a new building consisting of two buildings with 190 apartments has begun in the Timiryazevsky District. The total living space will be over 11 thousand square meters. The ground floor will accommodate non-residential premises with a spacious lobby, a modern elevator hall, a concierge room and a stroller room. The complex is located near the Okruzhnaya and Petrovsko-Razumovskaya metro and MCD stations, as well as the Okruzhnaya and Likhobory MCC stations. The developed infrastructure includes schools, kindergartens and sports facilities. Ostankino and Timiryazevsky Parks are nearby. At present, groundwork is underway, and the excavation of the pit has already been fully completed," said Vladislav Ovchinsky.
The new building will appear at the address: 3rd Nizhnelikhoborsky proezd, building 5, building 1. The territory will be landscaped, trees and bushes will be planted near the house. A comfortable barrier-free environment will be created for the new residents, which will improve the quality of life of both people with limited mobility and the elderly, as well as families with children.
Shops, pharmacies, order pick-up points and other important facilities will open on the ground floors. The facade of the new building will be decorated with stylish air conditioner boxes.
"The Moscow State Construction Supervision Committee issued a permit for the construction of a house on 3rd Nizhnelikhoborsky Proezd on a land plot of about 0.5 hectares in June of this year, after which the developer began work on the site. Inspectors have drawn up a schedule of on-site inspections that will take place at all stages of the construction of the facility. Specialists will assess the quality of the work performed and the materials used for compliance with the approved design documentation," the department chairman said.
Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin said that more than 220 thousand Muscovites have already received new apartments or are preparing to move. The renovation program was approved in August 2017.
