Another stream of the program of the Moscow Government's HR Services Department "Urban Leader. Start" has been completed. It is part of the line of flagship educational programs for managers and helps to form an effective management culture in city organizations.
The management tools, practical problem-solving skills and new professional contacts that managers receive within the program help them more effectively organize the work of their teams to implement significant projects in the capital.
The graduates included 715 line managers from Moscow Government structures. Over the course of three months, they completed online intensive courses with experts in the development of management competencies, analyzed their own experience, and mastered new approaches and tools that could be applied in their work.
"The program brings together motivated managers from different organizations of the Moscow Government. Today, it is part of a large-scale line of programs "Urban Leader", which covers line and middle managers. This approach allows us to introduce a modern management culture at different levels and form a single information field. Graduates of the programs continue to communicate and develop in the professional community, and thanks to this format, the teams become even stronger and more effective for the city," shared Ksenia Aleksandrova, Director of Development and Client Work of the HR Services Department of the Moscow Government.
Participants in the program studied new management tools together with experts and practiced them in practice. They trained to apply skills in conditions close to real ones and analyzed examples from the experience of middle managers.
Line managers learned how to make decisions from setting tasks based on employees’ strengths to conducting effective meetings with colleagues with different interests. Through group interactions, participants built business connections and expanded their professional circle of contacts. All this affects the coordinated work of city teams that make the capital more convenient for millions of residents.
Oksana Shagova, Deputy Head of the Events Organization Department of ANO Mosstrategiya, noted that she decided to undergo training after feedback from her colleagues and as a result received the opportunity to rethink her approach to management.
