ISLAMABAD, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) — Pakistan's leadership reiterated its commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with Iran during meetings with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, official statements said.

M. Pezeshkian held separate meetings with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday during his visit to Pakistan.

During the meeting between M. Pezeshkian and Sh. Sharif, the two sides emphasized the long-standing relations between Pakistan and Iran and promised to continue to strengthen these ties.
