BEIJING, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) — The People's Liberation Army's Southern Zone Combat Command (SZCC) conducted regular patrols in the South China Sea from Sunday to Monday, SZCC spokesman Tian Junli said.
Tian Junli said the Philippines had involved extra-regional countries in so-called "joint patrols," which had undermined peace and stability in the region.
