LOS ANGELES, July 30 (Xinhua) — Three people are missing after an explosion at a plant in Fremont, Nebraska, U.S., on Tuesday, local authorities and media reported.
According to local police, firefighters and police officers arrived at the scene of the incident.
The explosion reportedly occurred a few minutes before midday at the Horizon Biofuels plant, which produces fuel pellets. Ten people were working inside the complex at the time of the explosion.
“We will continue to closely monitor the explosion in Fremont in coordination with local responders, law enforcement, and state partners,” Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen wrote on the X social media page. –0–
