BEIJING, July 30 (Xinhua) — China's state-owned enterprises and state-held enterprises reported slight declines in both profit and revenue in the first half of 2025, data released by the Ministry of Finance showed on Tuesday.

According to the data, during the specified period, total profit decreased by 3.1 percent year-on-year to 2 trillion 182.53 billion yuan (1 US dollar is 7.1511 yuan), and total operating income decreased by 0.2 percent to 40 trillion 749.59 billion yuan.

Tax and fee revenues totaled 3 trillion 2.64 billion yuan, down 0.8 percent.

At the end of June 2025, the debt-to-asset ratio of state-owned enterprises was 65.2%.
