AMMAN, July 30 (Xinhua) — Jordan is set to attract more Chinese tourists as part of its ongoing efforts to promote its unique tourism offerings, Tourism and Antiquities Minister Lina Anna said on Tuesday.
“China is one of the most important tourism markets in the world and for us,” L. Anna told Xinhua, adding that “campaigns have been launched to highlight the diversity of experiences Jordan has to offer.”
Jordan is currently working with the national airline to improve transport links with China, the minister said. She said attracting Chinese tourists is part of Jordan's long-term plan. "This is not a one-time event, but an ongoing effort," she said. –0–
