The results of the competitive selection of the Presidential Management Training Program for overseas internships in China in 2025 have been summed up. A total of 150 applications were received from 39 regions of Russia, 40 specialists received the opportunity to undergo training in key areas of economic cooperation.
"Based on the selection of graduates of the Presidential Program for internship in China, two groups were formed: the first is dedicated to economic cooperation in construction, the second – to cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering. The construction direction included mainly representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, and the mechanical engineering – employees of medium and large enterprises. Companies will be able to adopt experience in the field of modern construction technologies and deepen their competencies in mechanical engineering, which is especially important in the context of growing industrial cooperation between Russia and China," said Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Tatyana Ilyushnikova.
The greatest activity in submitting applications was demonstrated by specialists from St. Petersburg, Saratov and Samara regions. According to the results of the selection, the leading positions were taken by the Republic of Bashkortostan, Penza, Kirov and Kurgan regions, as well as St. Petersburg. Among all the foreign internships of the Presidential program, the largest number of last year's graduates were sent to China – 17 people. The average age of specialists is 41 years, while 80% are professionals aged 35 to 45 years.
The largest number of participants come from the construction industry. A significant number of specialists also work in wholesale and retail trade, manufacturing, services and energy.
The Presidential Management Training Program is a state program of professional training for top and middle managers, as well as business owners in the field of economics and management. The training takes place at leading Russian universities, and upon completion, graduates have the opportunity to undergo an internship abroad on a competitive basis. The customer of the program is the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, and the executor is the Federal Resource Center, subordinate to the Ministry.
