BEIJING, July 30 (Xinhua) — An international sniper shooting competition was successfully held in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Zhang Xiaogang said on Wednesday.
According to him, more than 50 sniper teams from more than 20 countries, including Russia, Spain, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates, took part in the international sniper competition “Sharp Blade-2025”.
As Zhang Xiaogang added, the competition was organized by the People's Armed Police of China and was distinguished by its maximum proximity to combat conditions, close interaction between personnel and equipment, and coordination of technical and tactical elements.
The official representative noted that the competitions allowed for strengthening cooperation and exchanges between the People's Armed Police and police and gendarmerie forces of foreign countries. –0–
