WUHAN, July 30 (Xinhua) — Wang Xiaoping, former director of the Chinese Football Association's disciplinary committee, has been sentenced to 10 years and six months in prison for bribery, the Songzi City People's Court in Hubei Province said in a ruling Wednesday.
In addition, Wang Xiaoping was fined 700,000 yuan (approximately US$97,887) and all of his illegally obtained funds and income will be confiscated and transferred to the state treasury.
The public hearing of Wang Xiaoping's case was held on April 16, 2025, the Songzi City People's Court said. -0-
