STOCKHOLM, July 29 (Xinhua) — The China-U.S. trade and economic teams held in-depth, frank and constructive exchanges of views on major issues of mutual interest, China's international trade negotiator and Vice Minister of Commerce Li Chenggang said in Stockholm on Tuesday.
Li Chenggang made the statement during a briefing for journalists following a new round of China-US trade and economic talks held in the Swedish capital.
According to him, both sides will continue to promote the extension of the pause in the 24 percent mirror tariffs of the American side and the countermeasures of the Chinese side.
As Li Chenggang pointed out, the two sides took full account of the importance of maintaining stable and healthy economic ties between China and the US, and held a sincere exchange of views on key mutual concerns in the economic and trade fields. –0–
