BEIJING, July 29 (Xinhua) — The Chinese armed forces conducted combat-ready patrols in the territorial waters and airspace off China's Huangyan Island on Tuesday, the People's Liberation Army Southern Zone Combat Command (PLA SWC) said in a statement.
Since July, PLA Southwest Coastal Region units have been conducting continuous and enhanced patrols and air force patrols in the areas, strengthening command and control over the relevant waters and airspace, the statement said.
