Children's Library #242 invites young readers and their parents to a creative meeting "My Life is Cinematography" dedicated to Russian Cinema Day. They will be given a film quiz "Everything is the Other Way Around": participants will have to guess the title of a film presented upside down.
The children will take part in the fun competitions “Name the film by the still frame”, “Continue the movie character’s catchphrase” and “Guess the film by the song”. They will show their knowledge of Russian cinema.
Guests will meet with film director Akim Salbiev, a student of Tamara Makarova and Sergey Gerasimov, famous masters of the All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S.A. Gerasimov. He will talk about the path that those who choose the professions of actor and director have to take.
The meeting will end with a screening of excerpts from the animated film about film production, "Mimimishki. Light. Camera. Action."
