Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing negotiations, vowing to expedite a comprehensive ceasefire agreement that is key to urgently delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza and stopping further Israeli actions.
The parties also discussed Egypt's preparations for hosting an international conference on the post-war reconstruction of Gaza, which is part of the Arab-Islamic plan to rebuild the war-torn sector.
The Israeli army on Sunday announced a daily 10-hour humanitarian pause in fighting in parts of the Gaza Strip and the opening of safe routes for aid deliveries. –0–
