SHIJIAZHUANG, July 26 (Xinhua) — Two people were killed and two were missing after heavy rains hit Baoding City in north China's Hebei Province, local authorities said Saturday.
Fuping County, Baoding City, has been experiencing record-breaking torrential rains since July 25. As of 6 p.m. Saturday, more than 46,200 residents had been affected by the downpours, with two dead and two missing, according to the county flood and drought control headquarters.
According to the headquarters, more than 4,600 local residents have been evacuated so far. –0–
