During the construction of the ZIL station on the Troitskaya metro line, it was decided to increase the area of improvement of the adjacent territory. As a result, there will be more greenery here, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.

"The ZIL station of the Troitskaya metro line is being built in the very heart of the actively developing cluster of the capital on the site of a former industrial zone and is designed to significantly improve the transport accessibility of the area. For the convenience of passengers and local residents, during the construction process it was decided to expand the area of complex improvement by increasing the volume of landscaping – it will cover almost 40 thousand square meters. As part of the entire project, on an area of 60 thousand square meters, in addition to green spaces, lawns and flower beds, asphalt paving and granite paving will also be carried out, and small architectural forms will be installed," said Vladimir Efimov.

The area of flower beds has doubled compared to the original project. This is also due to the fact that the territory adjacent to the new station borders the Tyufeleva Roshcha Park and, according to the designers, will be maintained in its style.

According to the General Director of JSC Mosinzhproekt, Maxim Gaman, specialists will lay a lawn near the station, organize flower beds, plant several thousand bushes and trees, install benches and organize bicycle parking. A modern public transport waiting pavilion will also appear here and grounds for ground routes will be equipped. All this will create a full-fledged public area where city residents will be able to relax, use bicycles and have a rest.

In addition, new sections of roads for traffic and pedestrians will appear within the framework of the project. In particular, Lisitsky Street will be virtually reconstructed.

Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin told how the city cares about nature during the construction of the metro.

The Troitskaya metro line will run from the ZIL station of the Moscow Central Circle to the city of Troitsk and will become one of the longest radii of the Moscow metro and the largest outside the Moscow Ring Road.
