Tashkent, July 20 /Xinhua/ — Chinese airline Air China has launched regular flights between Beijing and Tashkent for the first time, Xinhua was told from Tashkent International Airport.
On Saturday at 19:40 local time, the first Air China flight landed at Tashkent International Airport. The crew and passengers, who arrived on a modern Boeing-737 airliner, were greeted with a traditional water arch and flowers.
"We are pleased to welcome a new partner in the person of Air China at Tashkent airport. We are confident that this route will be in high demand among passengers. Our team has provided all the necessary conditions for high-quality service of this route," said Umid Khamrayev, First Deputy Director of Uzbekistan Airports Handling.
Flights operate three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. –0–
