Vladivostok, July 12 (Xinhua) — A regular bus passenger line connecting Vladivostok, the capital of Russia's Primorsky Krai, and the city of Yanji in China's Jilin Province opened on Thursday, the Primorsky Krai government said on its website on Friday.
The total length of the route is 399.2 km, of which 128 km are in China and 271.2 km are in Russia. The expected travel time is 8 hours 50 minutes.
As the Russian Foreign Ministry’s representative office in Vladivostok emphasized, the opening of the Vladivostok-Yanji route “meets the growing demand for tourist exchanges, border trade and the rapid development of the tourism industry between Russia and Jilin Province.” –0–
