The Samara and Krasnodar scientific institutes of the Company became winners of the competition, which was held within the framework of the conference "TIMI 2025. Technologies of information modeling and engineering".
More than 20 information models* of the largest organizations and enterprises from various branches of industrial and civil construction, developed using domestic software products, were submitted to the competition. The projects were evaluated in terms of the efficiency of using the provided functionality and the level of complexity of the information models.
Rosneft is one of the leaders in the development of 3D design. Hundreds of objects have been designed in the Company using information modeling technologies. The information model helps to confirm the possibility of safe operation. Subsequently, the digital project is used at the stages of reconstruction and technical re-equipment of objects.
Samara specialists presented a three-dimensional model of the designed facilities of the Vostochno-Kapitonovskoye field of Orenburgneft (the Company's production asset). The development includes a gas compressor station and a preliminary water discharge unit. The total area of the complex will exceed 60 hectares.
The project contains more than 78 thousand different objects, each of which is linked to information from the construction schedule. The schedule integrated with the 3D model allows you to quickly receive information about each object of the model, including the delivery and installation dates of the structure and equipment.
Specialists from the Krasnodar Scientific Institute have created a digital 3D model of an oil pumping station, which will reduce the construction period by 10% and also improve the operational characteristics of the facility.
Reference:
An information model (BIM model) is a detailed model, a data storage of the object's geometry, materials and equipment. It is used throughout the entire life cycle of the object: during construction, reconstruction, operation and dismantling.
The information model is effective at all stages of the life cycle of a capital construction project. At the design stage, it improves the quality of design and estimate documentation by minimizing possible errors, which will subsequently reduce the time of construction and installation works. At the construction stage, the model helps to monitor the progress of work, issue comments on deviations from the project and record progress using laser scanning. At the operation stage, the "digital twin" allows you to store the necessary documentation for each object, plan the maintenance of the object's equipment. As a promising development, the functionality of information modeling includes the ability to export information models to a virtual reality environment to create VR simulators for employee training.
