On July 8, the exhibition “Experiencing Pompeii: The Eternal City” opened at the Hunan Provincial Museum. The exhibition, dedicated to the ancient city of Pompeii, displays more than 130 pieces/sets of authentic artifacts, including frescoes, sculpture, bronze and gold items. The rich collection of cultural relics and historical reconstructions give visitors the opportunity to travel through space and time, as if they were in the eternal city, and feel its former splendor and charm.
